We’re Making headlines!


Westfield’s 3rd March to Yorktown Day Parade

In the summer of 1781, Revolutionary War allied troops marched 700 miles from Newport, Rhode Island, to Yorktown, Virginia, passing through Westfield, NJ and many other locales. Two-hundred-forty-one years later, on August 28, 2022, we participated in a much shorter march from Mindowaskin Park to Prospect Street, celebrating the third annual March to Yorktown Day.


Amboy Guardian

On September 25, 2021, we had the honor of playing at the ribbon cutting ceremony for the Thomas Mundy Peterson park in Perth Amboy, NJ. He was a Perth Amboy resident and the first African American to vote in the United States after the 15th Amendment granted African American men the right to vote.


Brooklyn Daily Eagle

On August 26th, 2019 we had the honor of participating in the Battle of Brooklyn anniversary re-enactment at Green-Wood Cemetery.


Credit union National Association

On November 30th, 2019 we had the honor of playing at the American Heritage Credit Union’s annual Grand Illumination! Over 17,000 guests were in attendance, as well as more than 4,000 live stream viewers enjoyed a free concert performed by the Philadelphia Boys Choir and the New Jersey Fife and Drums before Pennsylvania State Representative Martina White, along with Benjamin Franklin and Betsy Ross counted down the lighting of the Credit Union's two 40-foot Christmas trees.


Fraunces Tavern 2018 Flag Day Celebration & Parade - Media Kit

Since 1916, Sons of the Revolution in the State of New York has hosted the Flag Day Celebration & Parade here in New York City. It is one of the longest running parades in our city, and in its early years, one of the largest. Today the 102-year-old grand tradition continues. The parade steps off after the mayoral proclamation is read at City Hall. Hundreds of school children and dozens of civic, veterans, historical, and musical groups begin the one mile march towards Fraunces Tavern. View the Media Kit

We performed at the Comcast Foundation award ceremony in 2017 which recognized its 2017 class of Leaders and Achievers Scholarship recipients during two ceremonies held in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, respectively.

Sunday, May 19th, 2016 we performed at Washington Crossing Historical Park, honoring soldiers who had died during the 1776 encampment.


350th Anniversary of the Founding of New Jersey

June 24th, 1664, (at that time) Mother England made a land grant to Lord John Berkeley and Sir George Carteret -- land that eventually became New Jersey. We celebrated our fine state’s birthday with coverage from CBS News.
